Want to guest blog?

...I am currently accepting guest posts for the upcoming fall season...

Here are some examples of some Autumn related posts you may want to consider submitting:


1. Fall Fashion/Fall Trends
2. Fall Hair/Makeup/Beauty
3. Fall Manicures
4. Fall Meals/Cooking or Baking

5. Parties and Events
6. Art, crafts, DIY projects and tutorials -I'm looking for mostly grown up kinds of projects.

7. Decor either for the home or a party

8. Fall Activities- girls night, family night, etc.

9. Other- You can submit any kind of fall related post. It can be about something personal, maybe a special event coming up such a s wedding, new baby, anniversary. It can be about dating, romance, or a post about what you love most about fall, your top 10 favorite things about fall, etc.

...I am also accepting Halloween related posts...

I'm going to start posting previews the 2nd week of September... you are welcome to send your own previews as well. Then, I'll start posting Halloween related posts during the last week of September. 

I'm looking for posts/guides related to the following:


1. Halloween Party planning/theme ideas.
2. Costume Ideas
3. Halloween Makeup and Manicures some tutorials would be great!
4. Recipes
5. Decorations
6. Other Halloween related posts.

You are welcome to pitch your own ideas as well. You can just send them to me via email.

How to Submit a Guest Post:

1. Send your post to: skylarmagazine.sarah@gmail.com, don't forget the title!

2. Include any photos you want featured in your post and any credit info or links for the photos.

3. You can have up to 2 links to your blog anywhere in your post.




4. I will let you know when your content has been posted. Once it is posted, I ask that you please grab the button above and either post it on your sidebar or you can create a post with the button and link back to Skylar so your readers can come read your guest post. 

NOTE: Make sure you come back here to Skylar or send me an email to let me know you have posted my button, so I'll know you have done it. You only have to keep the button on your blog for a week. If my button is not posted on your blog after your content is posted, the content will be removed and it will need to be up for the whole week!

Guest bloggers will have their blog buttons featured on my right sidebar under Skylar's button, which is located under the commentator widget.  

I will keep your button up for the whole week- the week you guest blog. I can keep your button on my sidebar, if you do the same in return. As long as my button is on your blog, your button will be on mine!

I am also going to be doing guest blogger spotlights. I will either do these spotlights weekly, daily or monthly... I haven't decided yet. The spotlights will feature whoever is guest blogging that day, week or month. 

Each person featured in the spotlight will have pictures, a brief review and links to their blogs.
