~Cover Memories~
The first issue was released, July 19, 2005, featuring Shaelyn Phatruong, the winner of our first model search.
The one thing I miss most about doing the magazine in print is, designing the cover. I loved designing the whole magazine and to be completely honest, compared to blogging, I wasn't as limited. I was able to do a lot more with the layout of the print version.
Who knows, maybe on down the road, like way, way, way, in the future, I might consider going back to print, but I have absolutely no desire to do that right now! I'm very content with blogging. I still have a lot more to learn, I think once I officially get the hang of blogging, I'll be able to do a lot more with it.
...I do miss doing covers though...

This was my second issue, which was released in the Fall of 2005, sometime in October I believe. The picture was actually professionally shot by some guy in Florida who had a modeling agency. It was so long ago, I don't even remember who took the picture, but I do know the models name was Erin. I never actually got to work with her after this. Come to think of it, I don't recall ever talking to her. I remember buying the dress and shipping it out to be modeled and they just took the picture and emailed it to me and that was it.

Next up was Winter 2006, which featured former model Aimee Perez.
...FYI...
The inside of the magazine was done on thin glossy paper and the cover paper was a thicker and shinier glossy paper.

Raquel Danieri was featured on the cover of our 4th issue, which was released late spring in 2006.

Ellen Mitchell was the winner of our second model search and got to be featured in our Fall-Winter 2006 edition, which was our 5th issue.

I finished the last issue in September 2009, but it was suppose to be a summer issue and it was way late, so I chose not to release it. A few months after that, was when I decided to turn Skylar into a blog-magazine. The final print edition featured the winner, Michelle Woods who won the last model search I had back in 2008.
