How Not To Wear Your Orange...

This is just a big NO NO! Gosh, if that was my mom or grandma I would be so embarrassed! YIKES!!! I mean, seriously, what is this woman thinking? I'm thinking I am going to have nightmares for the rest of my life about this.

I've wanted to start up a dos and donts column and am looking for someone who might want to run it. It would require you to have to go out and snap pics of both the good and bad fashion statements you find while you are out and about. If you are interested send me an email at skylarmagazine.sarah@gmail.com or hit me up on Facebook and we can discuss it.

What is the craziest fashion statement you have ever seen?

I'm all for pushing the envelope, but this is just too much! If you would like to flaunt your crazy

style you are more than welcome, but nothing like this please. You can send your pics to the above email*

  1. well, you know...
    I wouldn't do that either.
    It is not beautiful.
    For me...
But if she's feeling alright in this and thinks it's beautiful : I don't have a porblem with it.
I like it when people dress the way they choose, fashion or not, perfect body or not.
    I don't like the do's and don't in fashion .
I want fashion to be inspiring, not obliging...

BTw : no matter what she would be wearing, nothing would make her look the way ' the magazines ' and the fashion police wants to.

So actually : I admire this woman. For having the guts to wear what she wants !

    1. Yeah making a statement is great, nothing wrong with pushing the envelope, but you can go too far and this woman went way too far. She looks like a "streetwalker" wearing something like this in public should be illegal, especially when there are kids out there, I mean seriously do you want your kids looking at something like that?

I dont have a problem with people breaking the rules, but there are some that aren't meant for breaking.

This is bad, very bad, nothing admirable about this what-so-ever!

      Sorry that's just me.

    2. Also, I have to disagree, she could look like someone from a magazine. There are women who are just as "big" as she is who go to the red carpet and are in magazines who look fantastic. She should at least make herself look presentable to the public.

    3. why does she went too far ? Who decides what's too far ? How can we measure when something is 'too far ' ?
And what's the problem with children seeing this ?
You make her a sort of a criminal by saying this...

What rule does she breaks that can't be broken ?

And why should she even try to look as someone in a magazine ? Why should someone have to make herself presentable for the public ?
      for what public ?
And when is it presentable ?

She likes it, or she wouldn't wear it.

i read that you don't like it and i can understand it. i too would never wear something like that.
But I also read that it should be illegal to wear something like this.
      And that, i don't understand...
Would you react the same way when heidi klum wears a very short skirt and decolté ?

    4. Well, first of all I did have to edit this photo. See that black strip over her breasts? I had to put that there, because she's wearing pasties and they barely cover her nipples and do not cover her breasts at all. If it weren't for those things or her stomach, we'd see everything. So basically she's pretty much naked. Walking naked in public is not appropriate... I mean our public or any public, unless you live in a nudist colony.

And I know this is going to sound a little condradictive, but yes, I would much rather see Heidi Klum in a mini skirt or an outfit like this. I'd rather see Betty White in this outfit! Not that I would approve of either of them wearing an outfit like this, since it is what a prostitute would wear, but Heidi Klum would not give me nightmares at least.

This is not meant for childrens eyes period. Otherwise take them to a strip club, or to where the hookers hang out. One who would wear something like this, isn't confident in herself nor does she have respect for herself. It is obvious, her intention was to get attention and it worked.

I have no problem with short skirts, crop tops, or a little skin showing, I don't even mind artistic nudity. As long as it is done tastefully, I'm totally fine with it. This is not artistic nor is it tasteful. It is gross!

Not all attire is flattering on all figures. You should dress for your shape. I'm not saying she has to dress the way they do in magazines, but this is not okay! End of story!

    1. I agree Dannie, personally, I think electric blue would be much better or better yet, bright pink stockings with polka-dots. LoL. The sad part, I haven't been able to get this image out of my head all day. I think I might be scarred for life:(

      Thanks for commenting Dannie!
